“Although it entailed a detour from our route onto a busy road, we couldn’t visit the Wirral without calling into this famous cyclist cafe for lunch. The soup and sticky toffee pudding set us up for the afternoon, good wholesome food in convivial surroundings.”

“Helped us greatly in a difficult situation and provided us with local advice. Delicious Food which was all reasonably priced and was served quickly. This cafe has lots of heart and is a great venue for both its history and its owners.”

“Anne and Keith Peek run this little gem of cafe on the Top Chester Road. It is a cyclists paradise, great food lovely people and top quality service. Although only only on Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun and some BH’s it is a trip well worth making. Especially when daughter Holly is home from university, she is an exceptional cake maker…this cafe is a must for all cyclists…”

“Been here a few times on our cycling travels. What a lovely little place, full of cycling history.. Massive choice of food, good range of drinks and fairly priced (my fave is the sausage and egg toasty), and for those on bike supplies, they stock a massive range of energy bars, gels etc..”
