The Eureka Café is a unique place and famous amongst cyclists. It has been a regular stopping place since 1929 for motorists and cyclists. Over the years it became known more as a cyclists café. The majority of its customers today are still cyclists, but we also cater for walkers and motorists. We are located on the A540 which is the main route onto the west side of the Wirral Peninsula. Close to several cycle routes including the Millennium Way, Cheshire Cycleway and the off road Wirral Way and on the doorstep of the Cheshire plains and Hill of North Wales it is an ideal place to start and finish a days walking or cycling.
We serve a great selection of freshly prepared meals, sandwiches and cakes. Our Cappuccino and various coffee drinks are prepared using our Espresso machine from freshly ground coffee beans. We also cater for vegetarians, vegans and any special dietary requirements. There is also a small selection of cycling essentials, accessories and clothing for sale, but visit our bike shop or bike shop website www.eurekacyclesports.co.uk for an extensive range of clothing, accessories and bikes form Scott and Orbea
If you are new to cycling and want some advice or simply want to link up with one of the many cycling clubs that start their rides from the café simply phone or drop by and we are happy to advise and point you in the direction of the right people. Each year we organise a popular annual cycle ride that increases by 1mile or 1km in line with the age of the café, look out for details on the news section of the website.
